Location: Scranton and Wilkes-Barre (Laflin) Facilities
Day Shift (M-F) 7 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $18.00 to $20.00 Per Hour

Valley Distributing & Storage is seeking a Maintenance Associate with a good overall knowledge of industrial/commercial maintenance including carpentry, painting, light plumbing, small electrical. Facilities include multiple buildings on three campuses from Wilkes-Barre to Scranton.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the grounds and common area.
- Landscaping and snow removal.
- Carpentry, painting, housekeeping.
- Repair and maintenance to industry fixtures including truck dock plates, dock doors, and warehouse racking.
- Repair and maintenance to facilities including roofs, lighting, roadways.
- Respond to emergency situations as required.
- After hours / on call rotation as required.
- Company provides vehicle and tools, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to follow instructions and operate power scrubbers and sweepers.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA compliance requirements.
- Able to lift and move 50 pounds safely.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time.
- Reliable transportation and good attendance record.
